I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an affiliate of the Elections Research Center. My research examines the role of political parties and legislative institutions in shaping election policy, administration, and voting. My dissertation traces the evolution of election policy conflict in state legislatures and Congress to understand how election rules polarized.
